NYA Dolls in Barbie Philippine Fashion Week

OMG! This post will be BARBIE Overload, so be forewarned! LOLZ (^^)♪; Last Thursday we just went to the Philippine Fashion Week and guess who's their model....BARBIE!! Oh lala! my most favorite icon EVER! The whole show was a rich, head turner, well made fashion show! There were 50 selected designers that created something for Barbie. Every piece was gorg! Anyway, how does this connect to NYA? well read further to find out! you'll be in for a surprise!!!

Here are our tickets for the show! 'Yatta!' (yahoo!). You can get a ticket by buying 1000 worth of Barbie items from TRU or you can just call a doll friend with connections to get one *wink*. How wicked! Barbie logo in black. hmmm..something very new eh?


Oooh! Look what I wore for the show! I wore a hot pink dress coat (sooo BARBIE) , a black & white zebra swimsuit inside it ( A Barbie #1 classic) a pair of knee length leggings, net stockings and a total fab white calf boots for breaker! OOh! I soo love this outfit! (oh, this btw this will be my 2nd official outfit for now..kakkoii dayone? [stylish isnt it?])


Oh! Im also sporting a vintage barbie ponytail! 'kawaii' (cute) huh? oh Im posing just like the ponytail silhouette in the Barbie brush....I LOVE IT!!


Anj is just making some finishing touches to his outfit! If you call my outfit so Barbie, check out his outfit it was so wicked! It's deliciously Barbie, vintage & fabulosity combined! Uh-huh!!







The moment we entered SM MOA's Atrium, this whole kawaii, pinku, onna-mae, subarashii runway!!! (cute, pink, girly, fabulous) The totally pink runway was branded with a totally pink Barbie LOGO!!! EEEK!! I'm soo excited about the show!!! O.M.G.!

Here's the surprising part! NYA dolls was part of the mini Barbie Exhibit that was put up just infront of the runway!! LIKE OMG! They showcased the Gabooche Dolls! (the same ones from Anj's blog) **APPLAUSES** I'M SOOO PROUD OF YOU ANJ!!!! The dolls were put in this totally HUUGE glass case complete with light box and a Barbie Logo underneath! Oh here's the pic of Anj standing proudly with his OOAK Customized Barbies!

Karylle also went to the display and took a picture of it with Anj! How cool was that??? Domo arigatou gozaimasu Karylle-san NYA Doll loves you!!! (Thank you very much)

A little girl went to visit our display too AAAW! How cute!


Featured dolls were Britney Spears (wearing the Circus album cover outfit), Cher (wearing Anj's creations...I might say this one is sooo CHER-rific!), Brad & Angelina Pitt ( wearing fab outfits same with the KMJS feature), Beyoncé (wearing a sexylicious golden gown), Barbie's very first doll inspiration (OOAK) Bild Lilli, an OOAK ebony, flocked AA steffie (wearing a preppy outfit), and Namie Amuro (wearing a VS showgirl outfit) . The whole display just totally took my breath away!



Of course there weren't just us who had Barbies for display. There were official Barbie collections from collectors, fashion barbie inspired sketches by Regine Tolentino, and vintage Barbie commercials being played in the mini LCD.








There were lots of Barbie displays! even this Barbie 50th backdraft wasn't spared from my camera-whore-ness! (^.^); (work it girl!!)

Starting....(OH! this reminds me of Barbie's vintage Evening Splendour outfit! )

OH HOW FAB!!!!!!!!!!!! I really love all the clothes!! It was a doll's dream come true!! The whole collection was a must for any doll! The final walk was just suuper amazing! It was like a whole army of Barbies went out of the runway, posed and smiled with all their hearts!!

I SOOO LOVE BARBIE!!!

Oh after the show, I was inspired to pose more! \(>_<)/

Sayaka Interview

Hello readers! Its no stranger to anyone that every blog needs a someone to update. But in our case, we need a blog reporter (we just made up the term as an excuse to need someone to blog our updates..ha ha) Anyway, we need a reporter who is hip, young, fun, fashionable, have a sense of humor, who is really spontaneous (don't all reporters are??), and one who is game for every thing! So what came to our mind is our friend, Sayaka Tsuchiya. Sayaka is busy with her daily activities, so we were afraid that she will turn down our offer but were wrong. We gave her a call and she was actually excited on the project and eager to start. We asked her for a short interview to get to know her better:

I: Hi Sayaka, how do you describe yourself?

S: Oh my, I just don't know what to say...hmm.. Aa, sou da! (Oh that's it!) I'm Sayaka Tsuchiya,. You can call me Sayaka, Saya, Saya-T for short. Oh my Japanese friends call me "Saya-chan" (It's really cute actually) I'm actually from Tokyo, Japan. I'm half Japanese-half French. When I was young I lived in Paris. Then worked as one of the endorsers of "W Cosmetics" Japan few years back. I just came here from the States last December. Now, I'm taking my career into a different level now. (^.^)

I: Oh that's cool you're from Japan!

S: I know right? Totally!!! I go there from time to time when I have work. What I really REALLY love about Japan is FASHION! It's the only way I can express myself even without talking!! (haha!) Oh, let's not go there...I have lots of things to talk about it if we start!

I: speaking of fashion..Whats your fashion sense??

S: Eeeh??? hmm..I can describe my fashion sense as High fashion with a kick of Kawaii(cute). I really love to wear fashionable pieces! Cheap chic or pricey, as long as you're comfy and you express your individuality with it, then its fine with me...Oh! I wouldn't mind if it is a designer brand *wink* I have a soft spot for those! (laughs)

I: What's your favorite designer brand?

S: Ara! (Oh my!)...I have lots! but my favorite of them all would be Louis Vuitton! I couldn't get enough of them! (laughs) hontou hontou Kakkoi desuyo! (They're really really stylish!) oh they're really classic too!

I: Ah, whose your favorite icon as of the moment?

S: BARBIE! She's my ultimate icon! Ichiban desuyo!(She's number 1) She has everything what a doll could ask for! Thats a pun too! (laughs) Baabi Pinku mo sukii dayo!(I also love Barbie Pink!)

I: What's your final message?

S: Kokoro kara hontou ni arigatou gozaimasu (From the bottom of my heart thank you...) for choosing me. For the latest doll 411, Gambarimasu! (I'll do my best!)!!!
